Publisher's Synopsis
Mary Worthington is thirty-one, and for the last four years ran a multi-billion dollar empire. She has everything she wants, except one thing, a person that likes her for herself and not the vast fortune. A year ago she went to a Christian singles camp, got lucky and found new friends. She also found a man, but that didn't work out. This Spring he is getting married. It is more than she can bear, so she signed up for another singles vacation. This time she's touring Europe with the hope of finding more friends. Her sixteen bedroom mansion is lonely and cold. She wants people around to fill the mansion with laughter and fun. Worthington is the last living member of her family and for the past four years has been in charge of a multi-billion dollar empire. It was not her plans, at the ripe old age of twenty-seven, to give up her freedom and take over the business from her parents. They perished in a small plane crash over a volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. She had everything a person could want, except one thing, and that was the most important. She was alone and lonely. She made a best friend the previous year at a singles camp. That girl will always be her friend. Her name is Sarah and she had no idea Mary was rich. Sarah liked the person she met at camp. They've been friends this entire year. Mary needed to get away and found a singles tour of Europe. She asked Sarah, but she couldn't get the three weeks off work that would be needed. Sarah talked Mary into doing it by herself. Sarah never allowed Mary to pay for anything. Mary would have gladly paid for her trip. She is always stalked by the paparazzi. Her picture often found on the cover of magazines and newspapers. She is well-known in Atlanta. Last year Forbes named her the wealthiest person in the Atlanta area. She downplays her wardrobe, hairstyle and jewelry to conceal her true identity on the trip.
