Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from Mish-a-Mish Gardens

Time passed, very quickly blooms began to appear, the castor bean took possession of the garden. I fed it liquid manure and Nitrates. At the end of the season this bean'stalk had gained the height of thirteen feet and eight inches. Having decided to keep this stalk, I cut it close to the ground and laid it away. The stalk is still ten feet and two inches tall. My youngest son is named Jack, he was five years old last summer, I de cided to have a real Jack and the beanstalk, so I had this photo taken, the bean stalk was grown in 1921, the year of many happy moments and the dawn of a new enterprise to our gardens. Years have never been long enough to accomplish my ambition. If you want to spend many happy moments and have time pass quickly get into the glad game.
