Publisher's Synopsis
TichÔy, who was born in 1926 in the small Moravian village of Neteice, became mellower only towards the end of his life, no longer threatening curious visitors with his axe. He had already given up photography at the beginning of the 1990s. The nephew of a childhood friend convinced him to stage his first exhibition, and the world has taken an interest in the old Samurai ever since.
