This is the third in a series of four books running parallel with the four "Mind Your Language" books and covering the 7-13 age range. Pupils are encouraged to "discover" the rules of spelling through humorous cartoon strips integrating text and pictures. Spelling is linked to language awareness and grammatical knowledge. Pupils learn something of the history of language and word derivations, using prefixes, suffixes and root words.
