So much death littered the magical world, but not one dead or dying was bleeding, nor poisoned. This war was the separation of the Millenticas. Can the Igneous and Creo survive apart from each other? Is one Igneous, Therastone, really the answer? Preview 2014, somewhere on earth Aunty Pat came over and hugged me. I hugged her back. Then, she helped me put my mum's necklace on. I slipped on the backpack, and hugged her again. I found Nan in the sitting room staring out the window. Coming close, I kissed her gently on her cheek, old and wrinkly but so dear to me. She turned towards me. Her eyes were red. Her hands shook. "Time to go?" I nodded. "Portal, open." I heard a sound, with the gentleness of a harp, and a powerful wind gushed out, nearly knocking me off my feet. My hair whipped around my face almost blinding me. Before me, an oval opened. I stared. Through the oval, was a green field with trees and bushes. The picture wavered like a flowing river.
