Publisher's Synopsis
This is a story of two people, with tragic but separate, personal stories, who triumph in the end both personally, and on behalf of their nations. Set in the Middle East between 2006 - 2020, it tells the story of Hannah Booth, a brilliant, beautiful and promiscuous bisexual Jewish woman whose husband and two young children have been murdered by terrorists She then enters parliament as a political activist and confidant of Israel's ageing Prime Minister, Moshe Turlow, and eventually becomes his successor. Through her representation on a secret consultative committee of all the major Mid East intelligence organizations, Hannah falls in-love with the handsome and mysterious Iranian political adviser, Ali Rafjed Nahavane. Through this forbidden and secret love, their understanding of each other, and each other's cultures directly leads to a settlement of the Israeli/Palestinian question, and the defeat of the ISIS (Islamic State) menace, with not inconsiderable help from the guile and political cunning of new Democrat President of the US, the come-back kid, Marcus Bryant. The story is a roller coaster of interlocking interests and political brinkmanship, as well as violent resistance, erotic three-way love with Hannah's best friend Martha Halliday, and sexual blackmail. And all the time, overhanging this, is Hannah's and Ali Rafjed's deep dark secret which, if revealed, would destroy their credibility and scuttle the peace process for ever.
