Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Men of Illinois
The excellent appearance of the letterpress of Men of Illinois is due to the work of the Blakely Printing Company. The advance sheets of the work have been pronounced typographically perfect by men competent to judge. It was the aim of the publisher to have nothing but the best work enter into his book. The selection of the Blakely Printing Company was the natural outcome of this desire for perfection.
