Publisher's Synopsis
I believe the instinct inherent in us all is conveyed from the medium of nature as it is transcended throughout all of art and creation. If we know of an intuition sensed within time and place, that exists somewhere other than what we perceive, then one can discern the divine purpose of truth. When I wrote these works, the experience was as if separated from anything but sheer writing what is and will always be, the ideal form and content of a something far greater than exists as myself as an individual. Emerson shared his thoughts to us in the statement "awareness of a symbol is knowledge, that knowledge represents something is wisdom, and insight which underlies wisdom is truth." Also found throughout entire history is this immutable truth. Let the verse come to you, and do not chase it, for it is. As the poet Emily Dickinson said, "Beauty be not caused, it is...Chase it and it flees...Cease and it will abide." I believe we exist within a timeless domain, only that this time we live day by day in our lives is a contrivance man-made. Einstein said that creativity is a "delicate plant needing constant nurturance and care to grow, and is too often quickly destroyed by the dictates by which we live in civilization'. It is my intent and true hope that these verses will inspire, and that we take heed to live fully, by the abundance which is surrounding all of us, and that we will become what is genuine to our nature and the greater existence of that we are a part. Indeed I have only contribute a drop in an ocean of what is to be, so let our lives from the potential to know the truth, and therefore to be truly free.
