Since she first began writing as a child, Melissa has poured her thoughts out into hundreds of volumes of journals - which were always a true and close friend. Naturally evolving into prose and story, she began to create self published "zines" (a la Kinkos) in the year 2000. She places truthful, raw emotion in high regard and continuously finds humor in the darkest of situations. Drawing from experiences with depression and hypomania, she continues to create beauty from turbulence as well as an emerging sense of soul consciousness. Melissa lives in New Mexico with her husband and three dogs."
