Meet Angela. Like any teenager in the final years of high school, she's cramming assignments, applying for colleges, and trying to stay current with the trends in pop culture. Living in New York with her single, career-driven mother, she looks forward to another year of the same life. But it all changes when her mother starts dating a new guy whom she labels as "Prince Charming". After spying on her mother after a late night date, Angela quickly learns that her mother is a manipulative woman-beater. Under his influence, she watches the relationship take a wild turn and it affects her life as well. After "Prince Charming's" sudden death, Angela and her mother quickly moves to an inherited home in Los Angeles, where they meet people in and outside of Hollywood, and they endure new drama along the way.
