Publisher's Synopsis
A trio composed of an EX-DEA agent, a disabled Prison guard and a retired Engineer/Security professional take a contract to determine whether oil producers are cheating the mineral right holders by under reporting the oil harvested. They travel to the Texas Permian Basin to meet their client and commence the investigation.During their time there they encounter the Sheriff, a comely female deputy, some true 'Red Necks', Cartel Members, and their victim(s). As time progresses they encounter some innocent, and some evil folks; it is difficult to determine which class they belong to, and what their motivations actually are. More clients come to the table and bring additional issues into play. Politicians, and our own Federal Government plays a complacent part (as for the Greater Good), and semi-famous individuals are also encountered in this NEW WEST thriller to round out the cast.Come along on the trip to McCamey, Texas; grab a beverage and settled own for a while, as I tell you what REALLY happened there in this arid, and still yet hostile land!
