Matilda Wiggins has married Mark Rosen. She is having a grand time on their honeymoon cruise and made new friends, Kelly and Raymond, who have joined the newly weds for breakfast each morning. There are three days left of the voyage, but for some reason, their friends are unusually late, but when they arrive, Kelly is hysterical. She announces she just received a wire that her brother, an American soldier in Iraq has been injured. Unable to eat, Kelly rushes back to her cabin. This news disturbs Matilda and Mark, and it is later, he tells his bride he'd like to volunteer in Iraq and assist in the rebuilding of schools. Will he go? Matilda is astonished and puzzled by her husband's remarks. She has planned to become an elementary school teacher, but misses Joey and Jennie who will meet their new nanny, soon.
