Publisher's Synopsis

It's about a young man who's raised in a village where he never really knew who his parents were nor did anyone else. He just lived from home to home. Growing up as a young child though there was a myth that existed in the village about a ghost that would roam the nights with her baby. The rumor was that if you stayed up too late and encountered her, you would either die or take the place of the ghost cursed to roam the nights forever with the child. He knew that as a child, it was just a story told to make them go to bed early but as a grown man standing in his compound late at night one day, he actually encounters the ghost. While he expects that he would die or take the place of the ghost per the story, neither happens. Instead he falls in a trance and wakes up to find that the baby had been left behind, alive and made of flesh and blood. The rest of the story goes on about how this child sets him on a journey into his past and his origin and the things he discovers about himself shocks him beyond his wildest imagination!
