Publisher's Synopsis

Expert Humphrey is a desolate man who lives in London. He keeps old compositions in an antique longcase clock by the chimney stack corner. At some point, he concludes that he would begin a little club, called Master Humphrey's Clock, where the individuals would peruse out their original copies to the others. The individuals incorporate Master Humphrey; a hard of hearing man of honor, Jack Redburn; resigned trader Owen Miles; and Mr. Pickwick from The Pickwick Papers. A mirror club in the kitchen, Mr. Weller's Watch, run by Mr. Weller, has individuals including Humphrey's servant, the stylist, and Sam Weller.Master Humphrey's Clock showed up after The Old Curiosity Shop, to present Barnaby Rudge. After Barnaby Rudge, Master Humphrey is left without anyone else by the stack corner in a train of considerations. Here, the hard of hearing honorable man proceeds with the portrayal. Afterward, the hard of hearing respectable man and his companions get back to Humphrey's home to discover him dead. Humphrey has left cash for the hair stylist and the house keeper (no uncertainty by hints of affection that they would be hitched). Redburn and the hard of hearing courteous fellow care for the house and the club closes for great.
