The head of the Spanish mafia, Carlos Javier, intended to accept Russian mafia boss Dmitri Vladimir's proposal for his daughter Irina's hand in marriage.
After laying out his cards, Andrea Giovanni Luca, the head of the Italian mafia, makes a stronger counteroffer, and it is decided that Irina will wed Alessandro Luca, the mafia's heir. Before getting married, they had only ever met once, but sometimes that was enough. The couple is forced to turn their fictitious romance into a real one as obstacles and challenges come at them from all sides.
