Maritime Anthropology (MATH) a topic which covers prehistoric, historic and modern life, and inspirations derived from the world's oceans and the brave souls who have subsisted on and inhabited the surrounding environs of the sea. MATH 012 Navigable Waters focuses on the world's freshwater ways which include lakes, rivers, streams, ponds and other freshwater bodies of water. Topics include but are not limited to: navigation equipment, history, terminology, and in-depth study of celestial and cartography as a means of developing a course.
