THIS STORY TAKES PLACE in and around Marina Del Rey, California, a plush playground where the rich and famous keep their water toys. The Marina harbors about six-thousand yachts, and has thirty-five or so restaurants with the highest density seating capacity, per square mile, anywhere in the world, except New York City. But the story isn't about the rich and famous. It's the story of Laurie Mason, a school teacher, and Morgan Mac Alister, who appears at first to be a down-and-out boat repairman. Laurie has an insane obsession for revenge against her first husband who dumped for another woman. And Morgan has an obsession for avoiding responsibility in favor of enjoying the open sea. As a result of some freaky circumstances, they become fifty - fifty partners in a sixty-five foot sailing yacht named, The Island Queen. The story is about how they meet, fall in love, and deal with their other obsessions. All three (3) books of the trilogy involve different characters and different stories but have the same things in common: that is obsession for true love and obsession for other things that interfere.
