John Adler met Marilyn at Dealey Plaza on the 46th Anniversary of the Kennedy Assassination. He was a small town Tennessee boy in the city to party with his best friend, she was busking on the infamous Grassy Knoll. She sang for him and he spent the next 15 years remembering her. He finally decides to find the siren he can't get out of his mind, but his plans are complicated somewhat when he meets Kate. John has choices to make, and not all of them involve his love life. Some of them are decisions he's put off for years, but letting go of the past and embracing the future can be a little less appealing as we age.
