Compiled from a review of forty years of artworks and working files, 'Manifold' examines the various publications and associated works in sequential order. It details and illustrates the ideas and methods that contributed to over one hundred and fifty individual projects, with page plans, annotations, quotations and explanatory texts. 'Manifold' is a printed document that is both extensive and large in format, in contrast to the generally modest and plain nature of most of the single publications which form its content. Reproduction is in colour throughout, edited and assembled from scans, photographs and texts. Although notes and commentaries are included as background to many of the projects, the result is not intentionally critical or academic, but more likened to a technical resource.
