This is the student's manual to accompany the text on management and cost accounting. It provides brief descriptions of all the problems set in the main textbooK and then gives detailed solution guides to about half of them.;The problems allow students to pursue topics in more depth and concentrate on the application of principles in cost and management accounting. Taken together, the textbook and the Student's Manual form a flexible learning package, covering all the relevant subjects in depth and providing the opportunity to practice answering questions, many of which are taken from past papers of professional acccountancy bodies (CIMA, CACA, ICAEW). Students can test their understanding of each topic in the particular syllabus they are following.;The Student's Manual provides full numerical solutions to the problems in the main text which have an asterisk beside the question number and where necessary, supplements the main text with a discussion of the additional issues raised by the questions. To essay questions, the Student's Manual gives an outline answer and refers to the appropriate section of the main book. The chapters in the manual correspond with those in the text.
