Publisher's Synopsis
Documentary telling the story of Steve Rocco, the man who transformed the skateboard industry with his do-it-yourself punk attitude. Steve's antics and entrepreneurial nous had a huge effect on the skateboard business, taking it from the hands of the corporate giants and giving it back to the skaters themselves. His influence has impacted on the wider culture too - he was responsible for giving Spike Jonze ('Being John Malkovich', 'Where the Wild Things Are') his first directing job; he discovered actor Jason Lee ('Dogma', 'My Name Is Earl'); and he created Big Brother magazine, which ultimately led to the TV show 'Jackass'.
