This book is a collection of some of the many recipes my mother used over the years. Recipes have been collected from many generations. They are a part of our history and traditions as well as change. Recipes started with no directions, ended up with fast cook meals and crockpots for the working families. I have written step by step directions the way my mother would have done it. My mother was an excellent cook and could handle any section in this book. Over the years I have tasted all of these recipes and have my favorites. I have specified where they came from when known. All recipes were from family and friends. No ingredients have been deleted at any time. I started with recipes that had no directions and went to complicated directions. My format was made for easy reading so that the beginning cook as well as the advanced cook could follow them. At no time was plagiarism intended. These recipes are a part of my fondest memories of home and I will cheriish them forever, as I hope my children will.
