A kidnapping for ransom of a seven-year-old Chinese girl reunite retired Detective Sergeant Chad Belmontes and Homicide Detective Sergeant Bob Stanny in a new investigation on the Island of Oahu. When the parents of an abducted seven-year-old girl ask retired Detective Sergeant Chad Belmontes to find her, he is reluctant to become involved. But when they tell him their daughter is a diabetic and in need of medication, he agrees to do what he can-with the condition that the FBI and local police are also brought into the case.
