MAGGIE BOO is the tale of what happened on Minnie Carol's wedding day after Annie Doodle slipped an invitation to their aunt, Maggie Boo, after realizing she was being excluded from the guest list. Maggie Boo is an embarrassment to the family because she is different than other people and always manages to call attention to herself whether she means to or not. Maggie Boo times her arrival before sunrise on the day of the wedding so that nobody will see her flying over the Green Swamp on her sage grass broom. But neither Maggie Boo nor Annie Doodle reckon on someone else bringing magic to the wedding. The mischief caused by a jilted lover forces Maggie Boo to, once again, call attention to herself in a very embarrassing way. When Maggie Boo's attempt to save the day ends in disaster, Annie Doodle is left holding the basket - and a witched wedding ring.
