Maddy Monday and Big Ted is the second in a series of children's books, which follow a young girl's running adventures on the bridge near her windmill house. In her adventures, Maddy meets magical, strange, and often amusing creatures and people who help her learn important lessons, all while having fun and keeping fit and healthy. In this adventure, Maddy meets Big Ted, a giant Teddy Bear who just loves to run, run, and run some more, though sometimes he forgets to train and prepare properly for big races. Maddy loves Monday as much as she loves to run, and she loves to find ways to help people face the most dreaded of days with a smile.
