Publisher's Synopsis
Right, so how does one go about describing a series of events that you were largely unaware of? Further, how does one describe these events when they involve your daughter (variously between the ages of 6 months and 5 years) and two wood fairies (yes, I said wood fairies)? Even more, challenging, how do you write all of this with a very strong willed and determined child looking over your shoulder? The answer, with great care and not a small dash of NSD (Natural Suspension of Disbelief though those of you who assumed I mean Never Say Die would also be in the running). The book you are about to read, therefore, has many elements that you might find hard to believe or in fact will reject outright. I ask you though not to blame me but to accept that sometimes there are things that happen in this world the absolute truth of which we may never know. Have I seen the wood fairies, I hear you ask? Well, the honest truth is no, but what I can tell you is that I have seen the results (perhaps aftermath might be a much more fitting term) of my daughters supposed interaction with them and these certainly cannot be explained by any normal rational means. Beyond that, I will have to leave it up to you dear reader. It all started the very day we moved from the city to the small rural town of Tumbledown (that's right, Tumbledown - you couldn't write this stuff could you!)........
