Publisher's Synopsis
When D.J. Dillon lets his dog, Hero, loose and he doesn't come back, D.J. is afraid Hero might be shot by the angry father of a child recently bitten by a rabid dog said to be roaming the mountains, so D.J. goes looking for Hero and finds a problem that takes all of his Christian faith to solve.
