Publisher's Synopsis
The materials in this resource pack enable teachers to see how the work covered by Book 3Y of the "Macmillan Secondary Mathematics" course relates to the National Curriculum (NC) objectives, and to assess and record pupils' progress in terms of the NC Attainment Targets. The course guide details how the contents of Book 3Y link up with the NC objectives at this stage. It contains a large "curriculum map" which shows how the course relates to programmes of study. The record keeping resources consist of a set of four photocopiable record cards for recording the results of assessments. The cards can also be used for recording assessments made by other means, such as practical work, oral work, homework and cross-curricular projects. The assessment materials fall into four categories: mental work, computer work, written tests and open-ended assessment tasks.
