The Macmillan Group Reading Test 9 to 14 is a standardized set of reading tests for assessing groups of children focused particularly on the crucial period of transfer from primary to secondary.;Covering the ages 9 to 14, it complements and follows on from the "Macmillan Group Reading Test". The four tests, two of graded sentences, two of graded passages testing total reading comprehension, are all correlated to allow retesting or to prevent copying.;A four page test of 4 passages, graded for difficulty. Each passage has ten gaps. The child must decide which word of a selection of five, is most appropriate for each gap. CCT form X and CCT form Y are parallel tests.
