Myth has it that was the birth of the M'TK Sewer Rat, a title of respect from those he served and fear from those he fought. His childhood made him tough; the university made him a lawyer. After years of blood, sweat, and tears, Jake found himself working as a lowly prosecutor in the Emperor's Court harassing an endless parade of drunks and prostitutes. Then the murder of a fisherman's daughter catapults Jake to the center of a political fight that will bring the Empire to its knees.
