Publisher's Synopsis
MORAL STANDARDS OF WORLD LEADERS
Imagine what your life would be like if you were born at the beginning of the 13th. century. Now, suppose you could remain alive from this date onward until our present days, travelling around the world, witnessing the main episodes of History, and identifying the main political, social, and economic events that occurred during this period. You would be able to witness the cultures of different societies, their art, their inventions, their land discoveries and understand the reasons for so many wars. You might even get acquainted with the most important leaders such as kings, emperors, popes, government officials, nobles, and the like. Incredible as it may seem, this fantasy comes true in the three volumes. You will be able to follow the adventures of an imaginary family that interacts and socializes with world leaders and important personalities of the countries where they spent their lives. This relationship enables the family to comply with its objective of generating reliable information about the posture of these important personalities in terms of moral and ethical principles, as defined by the family´s patriarch, Francesco Vivone, in his famous book "Morality and Ethics", written in the year 1231. In addition to the fictional aspect of the story, the actual historical events are referenced through reliable sources and constitute the non-fictional component of the book.
I hope you enjoy your reading.
