A fantasy story for children, young adults, and youth at heart looking for a fun, light-hearted read. Gypsy Mim is awakened from amnesia to find that her dear friend King Leyric is on his deathbed. His death is caused by the kingdom's rivals, the rebels, whom are now after the royal family's sword, and thus the crown and kingdom. Mim meets up with Tuck, a loyal knight with a secret past, who helps her find a way to keep the rebels from the castle. They soon find out that their quest is much larger than they thought when an attack by dwarves leads them to meet Vix, a flying unicorn. After an encounter with the rebels, they are stalked by the leader, General Pire. Mim soon discovers that the sword given to her by the king, and the stone given to her by Tuck, can make or break all existence. In light of this new information, Mim challenges the general's evil doings to the brink of time.
