Perhaps that was the real mark of evil, the real sign of its insidious intents. It took delight in destroying that which had already had life reduced to a constant struggle to keep from sinking, sinking ever deeper into the quagmire of poverty. This will be Lynton's greatest battle, but by her side is a true staunch defender of the downtrodden.
