Alaria it was called, and it shined out into the darkness radiating its glorious light as the fifth in line from the sun along with its celestial brothers. It was the home of Men... until the end. Nothing now remains of its former glory save for a unlikely object, a sword, driven hard into the rock of a lonely asteroid long, long ago. Upon its hilt hangs a small silver leaf from a frail silver chain and together they look out toward the stars. This is the account of that Sword, the men who wielded it against evil, a planet destroyed, and a bridge between worlds.
