Big-screen anime action-adventure based on the 1960s 'Lupin III' saga, itself inspired by the James Bond films. Gentleman rogue and master thief Lupin the Third is dead - or is he? Aided by a fake coroner's report, Lupin and his associates, Jigen, Goemon, and erstwhile girlfriend Fujiko, make their escape and travel to Egypt to steal a valuable stone artefact from a pyramid. But when Fujiko double-crosses Lupin, after being promised the secret of eternal youth by evil scientist Mamo, it's up to Lupin to put an end to mad Mamo's secret plan - world domination.
