Publisher's Synopsis
Lulu knows she's not really a bulldog. So she
decides that it's time to let the world know who she really is. But things don't
quite go as Lulu planned: her owner doesn't understand her, or why she's
grunting, snorting and charging full speed at the door. Other dogs don't
understand her, and when she tells them she's a rhinoceros, they either laugh,
freeze in confusion, or whisper their opinions in other dogs' ears. And to top
it all off-when Lulu thinks it just couldn't get any worse-she can't even
convince a gang of loitering pigeons to accept her for who she really is. But
when all hope seems lost, Lulu goes on an adventure through the big city,
finding friends in an unexpected place-and it is only then, that she finally
gains the courage and confidence to let her true self
shine.
