Publisher's Synopsis
For Lillian Byrd, a chance encounter with an old friend leads to the discovery that everything she thought she knew about her childhood is a lie. Best friend Duane reveals that the fire that killed Lillian's parents and Lillian's babysitter, Trix, may have been arson, and that Trix may not have been the third person killed after all. Furthermore, at the time of the fire, Duane's father had claimed that his mother had left them, but now he's disappeared too.
