Publisher's Synopsis

For the last three seasons I've pulled together all the seasons blogs into end of year reviews. Together they tell the tale of the of how our new owners managed to convince the enigma that is Marcelo Bielsa to join our club and how he transformed our club from mid table Championship also rans to one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League. Unfortunately 2021/22 was the season that fairy tale finally turned sour with the great man ignominiously removed from his job as the club turned to young gun Jesse Marsch to secure survival with the very last kick of the season. As I had no desire to relive the trauma of last season I hadn't planned to publish a season review but following the death of my Dad before the 2022/23 season got underway I wanted a permanent reminder of our last season together so here we go!
