Publisher's Synopsis
As a young child Peyton didn't feel that she had the love and security she needed. Suffering from scars endured early on in her life Peyton began seeking those things that she never had. She assured herself that once she found love, she would hold onto it forever and do whatever it took to keep it. Peyton thought she found that in Jace, a handsome younger guy of whom she'd become very fond of. Jace swept her off her feet, and showed her a world full of love and made Peyton feel safe. What Peyton didn't realize was that there was another side of Jace, one full of abuse, cheating, and disrespect. Even after all of the constant infidelity, and mistreatment, Peyton stuck around trying to save a relationship that seemed to be doomed from the start. Jace is out for self, and treats Peyton's love like it's a curse, but will she ever get that much needed wakeup call and leave him in the gutter where he belongs? Or, will she continue to accept the mental and physical abuse he delivers to her mind body and soul daily?
