LOVE, ALICE follows Alice, a middle-aged literature teacher whose lifelong loneliness is exacerbated upon her move from the French countryside to Paris. Alienated from her only daughter and hungry for comfort and companionship, Alicebegins to develop romantic feelings for her quiet, reserved Japanese masseur, Akifumi.
