In 1978 in Cambridgeshire in Manchester in England, Duke Thomas Augustus struggles against all odds to protect the secret in his closet not knowing that his greatest obstacle is his beloved wife, Duchess Isabella who happens to be the only one he shares it with. But the duchess can't bear the intensity of the sacrifice of keeping the secret anymore, so she becomes a loose royal figure trading on the path of promiscuous just to quench her fierce devastation. In spite of all the attentions drawn towards her shameless act, she is able to blackmail her husband, placing him on a ground of tolerance. This gives her the conceit that she develops confidence, raging boldness in her act of sleeping with Alexander, the duke's nephew. Then she conceives for him. The duke claims the child and send Alexander on exile with three weigh of gold and treasure.
