Surrounded by century-old trees, Édouard wonders what prompted him to leave his wife standing at the train station and get on a bus, without any premeditation, following in the footsteps of an old, unknown woman. In a second, that change of course turned his whole life upside down, so instead of preparing dinner with his partner, he now finds himself in a refuge in the middle of the Broceliande forest.
In the heart of the mythical Arthurian scenery, Édouard will not only allow himself to be enveloped by the magic of the place, but he'll also meet up with the kind Gaëlle and her son Gauvain, who lives locked in silence by a terrible secret, with Raymond and his bombastic words, and with the young Adele, a woman as mysterious as certain legends.
Behind all of them there are many unknowns, but doesn't Édouard also have many unsolved mysteries inside himself?
