The house belongs to the family of Jeff, Faye's boyfriend, but the young man is reluctant to cooperate, and Lottie wonders what he is hiding. The next day, the inspector discovers that Faye has disappeared, and shortly after they find her lifeless body in the trunk of her car. However, Jeff, the prime suspect, has a solid alibi.
