Publisher's Synopsis
" Lord, Give Me Patience.(Lessons To Be Learned While You Wait)" is a collection of 60 short devotions laid out in the traditional style of listing a scripture reference, a devotion of a single paragraph in length, and followed by a short sentence prayer. The key insight or lesson of each devotional paragraph is repeated again on the next page for emphasis and to make the lessons stand out when you are browsing through the book. The theme of the devotions is waiting upon God and the lessons He teaches us while we wait. The devotions are brief, reflective, positive, informative, and occasionally humorous. They are encouraging, but also try to be as realistic as possible covering the many facets of waiting including God's discipline and the tough lessons He sometimes has to teach us. The collection touches on many different areas of waiting that affect a broad range of people: waiting on the right mate, waiting up for children, husbands waiting on their wives, dealing with difficult people, and many others.
