Things were moving at a fast pace for Suzy, an introverted teenager who would rather curl up in her father's recliner and read a good book than hang out with a bunch of girls.
Was running into Josh in the park just a chance meeting, or did God have His hand in it? As their affection for each other grows, she knows he is not a typical boy; she needs to hang on to him.
Josh, a preacher's son, is totally in awe when Suzy tells him how she made a promise to raise her dying cousin's baby as her own. His feelings for Suzy grow stronger, and he realizes he would do whatever is necessary to protect both girls.
