Publisher's Synopsis

This book is about Angelo Giordano, and his experiences, while living in Alaska, told in his own words, with his colloquial speech, and dropped g's. Angelo's father was a U.S. citizen of Italian Extraction. His mother and father were adventuresome, and his father was fearful of nothing. His parents with their nine children left Massachusetts, and drove to Alaska, when Angelo was just sixteen years old, and the oldest child. Angelo became a major contributor to making a living in Alaska. He says, "We enjoyed our life, but we worked at it every day. I worked hard and I played hard, racin cars, motorcycles and snow machines. I served in the Korean occupation. I met the girl I married in Barstow California, then moved to Alaska with my new bride, and proceeded to have two children. Cathy and Angelo. They grew up in Alaska and went to school there." Cathy, played basketball in high school, in Wasilla, Alaska, with Sarah Heath (Palin). The last chapter in the book, named Sports and Music is in Cathy's voice, and includes her exciting discovery that she actually knew Sarah Palin.
