Le Shi lives in Chicago, Illinois, and works as a painter. He has degrees in computer graphics and painting. He was a well known artist in China, and once held a personal exhibition of calligraphy and painting works. Hundreds of his works were sold in China. Also his oil painting "The Creation of Adam" was kept by Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Aurora, Illinois. His focus has been on children's graphic books for ten years. He loves to work with the paintings in traditional Chinese style such as scenery and animal paintings with watercolor and Chinese brush.
