Publisher's Synopsis
Lainey Evans is just your basic seventeen-year-old high school student. Or, she was until she was murdered at a party. Now she's just your basic, everyday dead girl.
Lainey has spent most of her time as a 'newly dead' trying to come to terms with death and the unfairness that comes with watching her killers get to walk free. It seems like Lainey is going to be stuck in limbo with unfinished business until she happens across an old friend - and not just any old friend (though he has aged and she hasn't), but a friend that can see ghosts. With a touch of nostalgia and sarcasm, Lainey works to expose her killers and finally be able to cross over.
