Publisher's Synopsis
To all the children in the world: Have fun pretending and DREAM BIG, because all things are imaginable and possible!
My inspiration for writing this book came from my son's wild and vivid imagination, including how he plays and enjoys life as a young toddler. Pretending to be something or someone while having fun is one of the most magnificent things a child can do to learn and believe in themselves. Although my son doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up, he has many choices that appeal to him. Watching him pretend to be king of his favorite things (chief of which are his trucks) puts laughter in my heart and a smile on his face.
Most of us have pretended to be something or someone at least once in our "young" lives. As a child, I would pretend to be certain characters such as singers, ballet dancers, athletes, and others. I believe pretending and imagining as a child creates wonder and helps us grow into someone spectacular. Those things have brought me joy, taught me much, and have led me to be the person I am today.
Although this type of book was written for little boys, it can be a learning tool for all children throughout the world who desire to learn the power of imagination. Whether a king, princess, or president, pretending can be fun, entertaining, and enjoyable.
