Publisher's Synopsis
This is the story of Mother Chick sitting on her egg waiting for her "Little Chick" to hatch. While Mother Chick waits, she talks to her egg and tells her everything she can't wait to teach her. She will teach her "Little Chick" where they will find food together, how to make new friends, the colors of the trees and flowers and sky, but, most importantly, Mother Chick knows her "Little Chick" will be born with wings, and although she will teach her that she will always be there for her, her most important job as a parent is to teach her "Little Chick" how to use her strong wings and eventually soar on her own!
